Educational Background

Nicos Neocleous studied Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Athens, and he had specialised studies in Computer-Aided Design at Oxford Polytechnic. 

 

Professional Experience

Nicos Neocleous was Chief Water Officer in the Water Development Department (WDD), a Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment. During his 40 years of employment in WDD, he served in several posts and worked for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of Cyprus’s major water projects. He also served as District Engineer of Limassol, Larnaca and Famagusta District Offices of WDD. He was responsible for the design and construction of domestic water supply and irrigation schemes. He was Supervising Engineer for the construction of sewerage networks, reuse water networks and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Additional Information

Nicos  Neocleous is a registered Civil Engineer in Cyprus since 1978. He is member of the Cyprus Association of Architects & Civil Engineers, member of the Cyprus Association of Civil Engineers and, member of the Scientific-Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK). He served as President of the Cyprus Civil Engineers Association 2001-2003 &2011-2013 and as General Coordinator of the Cyprus Joint Construction Contracts Tribunal (CyJCCT) 2013 –2017. Currently, he is the President of the Cyprus Water Association.
